Someone's Freedom

Broken homes
Broken dreams
Forced smiles
Empty streams

A world filled with a million faces
Everybody out and runnin their own races
A love lost while a love is gained
Someone’s freedom is someone’s pain

Broken spirited man finally found a purpose
Sweet little girl hidin behind her liquid courage
Babies bein born without their daddies
Mamas runnin the streets, oh so classy

Far too many broke homes
Every day one more broken dream
A brief exchange with a forced smile
Walkin a path next to an empty stream

 I lived in that house
And I lost those dreams
That’s my forced smile
My tears filled that stream

But now that house is broken
And those dreams are forgotten
Can’t keep forcing this smile
And refilling that stream

I'll See You In Hell

I’ll See You In Hell
House full of broken memories
And a whole lot of unseen dreams
All cuz of some trashy ass whore
But it’s my fault, I let her in the door

Oh how I hope she gives it all
Cuz I can’ wait to watch you fall
See you cryin in the corner
Broken down cuz of your stupid whore

Hell yeah I hope you love her
Knew I wasn’t what you preferred
Hope she builds you up so high
That you come crashin down like the tide

So glad that fake ass hair is what you want
She’s a pretty little thing, your trashy cunt
Spreads those legs a little too easy
But not just for you, she’s just that sleazy

Keepin on changing to be her perfect match
She’ll tell you that you are such a catch
Lyin to your face as your buyin every word
Gotta laugh as she walks into church

What a perfect little hypocrite she is
Better learn how to forgive and quick
A perfect combination of two facades
The lives you lived before just afterthoughts

I bet you think I’m really angry
When in fact, you set me free
Don’t know how else to thank you
For showin me a life I never knew

Thought you had some game at the start
And for a moment you broke my heart
But I’m more than happy to hand you over
And finally get my god damn closure

For the record, when you are broken down and alone
Don’t come crawlin back here, cuz this isn’t home
Wouldn’t take you back if you were the last one left
You could be on fire and I wouldn’t even react

I got ten long years of living hell with the prodigal son
But oddly enough, my life has finally just begun
Two perfect babies that I’ll never regret
But if I could, you’d be the first thing I’d forget

Hope you feel like you won the prize
But I see the doubt in your eyes
You already know how bad you fucked up
Funny that it’s you holding the grudge

I’m gonna keep walking forward
And watch you hidin like a coward
This smile isn’t leavin my face
Already know with you, that’s not the case

I’ve already said all goodbyes
No more tears comin from these eyes
I’m laughin as I bid you farewell
And I know I’ll be seein you in hell

Experience Joy

Experience Joy
Experience the joys that life offers to you
Ya only get one and no one gets out alive

Take some time and dance in the rain
Make yourself look like a fool for fun
Don’t worry what they think
What does a stranger’s opinion matter

Gonna let an unfamiliar face
Try to tell you whats right or wrong
Who are they to stop you from bein you
Just roll your eyes and keep movin

Experience the joys that life offers to you
Ya only get one and no one gets out alive

Spend so much of life
Worryin about the neighbors talkin
Wastin precious time because of people
That you couldn’t pick out of a crowd

Society says it’s wrong
Who are they to judge
They aren’t living your life
So do what makes you happy

Experience the joys that life offers to you
Ya only get one and no one gets out alive

Stigmas and judgments fill this world
But are you gonna fit in or stand out
Gonna make your own path
Or take the one everyone else cut

Don’t wanna wake up one day
To realize life is over and it’s too late
Experience the joys that life offers to you
Ya only get one and no one gets out alive

Forever Mine

Forever Mine
A sleeping child
Peaceful and quiet
Wanna take the truth
And hide it

Brought them into
A cold cruel world
But you never knew
These emotions would be stirred

You heart beating
In front of your eyes
The picture of perfection
Your soul on the outside

Who knew that you’d find
Purpose in such a small thing
Time to really grow up
They’re your awakening

Something you’ve never felt
A love totally unexpected
And you’d give anything
To make sure they’re protected

Gave them your name
Or maybe your smile
The sleepless nights
Are all worthwhile

You watch them grow
Teach them along the way
Doing your best for them
Hope they don’t go astray

The days they break your heart
You think back to those times
Where you watched them sleep
With tears in your eyes

The sweet and gentle soul
That you helped create
Now stands before you
Making their own mistakes

You love them through it all
No other choice available
You want their love and respect
A bond that’s unbreakable

For this is your sweet angel
The child you held in your arms
The one you’ve always loved
And kept from knowing harm

Your baby is growing up
You hope you’ve done your best
They are your heart and soul
Beating outside of your chest

The Honest Truth

Do you ever look back
At days gone by
And for no reason at all
Begin to cry

Haunting memories
You thought were long gone
Come back in a flash
And hit close to home

The road less traveled
The path unknown
Too scared to move
Too scared to be alone

A real fuckin shame
Rememberin what’s happened
This sure as hell
Wasn’t the life I imagined

A memory made
And a memory lost
Can’t pick and choose
And time won’t be paused

Maybe a little self-torture
Is good for the soul
Stickin the blade in your skin
Almost makes you whole

I got my pain
Locked away in my vault
Plenty of it there
But only some is your fault

Oh you have some guilt?
Tell me how that feels
Enlighten me a bit
Let’s see what’s revealed

Anger is just the tip
Of this iceberg
So much more there
But you share first

Wanna compare our scars
See who had it worse
Maybe my honesty
Is really my curse

Because I won’t lie
To protect your heart
Not after you took mine
And tore it apart

A little white lie
To hide the truth
I know you’re lyin
And so do you

Maybe some day
You’ll face the fact
That you made the mistake
That threw my life off track

You found the love
You’ve always needed
But walked away
Your fear succeeded

But for now we can just
Pretend that life is good
The world is perfect
Goin just the way it should
