strewn about the streets

doubts won out
How
can it hurt so bad

the tears can’t fall anymore
Unimaginable
pain
Coupled
with uncomfortable numbness

this turn of events

Blindsided
by the truth
As
I tumbled back to earth

many sleepless nights
Wondering
how it all went wrong

Still
wasn’t good enough
Just
don’t know what to say anymore
Want
it to be ok

this to be over
Want
to be happy again
So
much confusion in all of this
Don’t
know which way is up
Drowning
all alone
Maybe
it is finally time
