Flickering light
The candle is burnin,
Need to be sleepin
But the wheels in my head
They won’t stop turnin.
Missing you tonight,
Cryin away my sorrow,
Wishin it was different
Always waitin on
A new tomorrow.
Heart slowly beatin
As I’m starin up at the ceiling.
The bottle is callin my name,
Givin my broken heart
A bit of that liquid strength.
Makin it through these days
Haven’t been easy
But this broken hearted girl,
Shes gonna make it through.
She won’t be forever
