So Tired
So very tired
Just want some sleep
My thoughts are exhausting
Need to find my peace
My body is worn
My dreams are haunting
It is all too much
This life is daunting
Maybe it’s time
To just let it go
To walk away
From the things I’ve known
A history of people
Leavin me in the cold
A collection of misfits
And broken souls
They draw me in
And discard me empty
Always the same story
Their needs are unrelenting
So very tired
My body is worn
Been left by so many
Even those I adored
My thoughts are exhausting
My dreams are haunting
This life…
This life is daunting
