Ten to Three
It’s the dark that soothes me
The only place there is no light
A gentle calm in the cold
At the darkest time of night
When the house is dark
And when the baby sleeps
The radio is off
Then I find my peace
Can close my eyes
The world’s been muted
Take a deep breath
A treaty that’s been eluded
It’s always called to me
The shelter in the dark
A place of comfort
To rest my jaded heart
