Hope
What is it that drives us to believe
in hope?
Is it our unending need for
satisfaction?
Is it our desire to always be better?
Is it our wish that one day life will
improve?
I just don’t know anymore.
Life is full of never ending
complications.
A daily struggle to get that small
win.
And each time we let it in,
It comes back to get us.
The optimist will never be happy
And the pessimist will never be
disappointed
But still,
We all believe in it.
Hope.
